Shipping & Pick Up Info & Policies

• Shipping cannot be calculated by our ordering system
• If you require a shipping quote first, you can email us or select one of the Quote First options as your shipping method (see below). Or you can simply select one of the Cheapest methods to get the actual cheapest rate at the time of shipping without adding extra delays to your order
• If you are picking up, select Pick Up at V&C Courier as your shipping method (see below)
• Most of our orders ship by Canada Post Expedited as it is almost always the cheapest and fast, but we also use Regular Parcel where it is selected or the cheapest option when Cheapest is selected
• If you are wanting to use your own carrier, please select Collect - My Carrier as your shipping method (see details below)

• Shipping Method Options (all are prepaid and charged on the invoice unless otherwise noted)
  > Select Your Shipping Method (from the drop down list on page two of the check out)(please ignore the meaningless 0.00 beside each method)

  Any Carrier - Cheapest

  Choose this method if you are able to accept both courier and Canada Post shipments and we will ship by the cheapest method
  Please note courier shipments include insurance and require a signature at delivery

  Collect - My Carrier - (I'll Arrange When The Order is Ready)

  If you would like to use your carrier we will send you all the shipment info after the order is ready. You can arrange the pick up and send us the shipping labels. Canpar, Purolator and ICS may used for shipments containing cases of glass. Although FedEx and UPS have special handling, they cannot be used for orders containing cases of glass
  Please note this method is for box and multi box shipments, for pallet shipping please select truck freight (below)

  Courier - Cheapest

  Choose this method if you are able to accept courier shipments and we will ship by the cheapest courier (non-Canada Post) method
  Please note courier shipments include insurance and require a signature at delivery

  CPC - Cheapest Post

  Choose this method and we will ship by the cheapest Canada Post option
  Please note on multiple piece shipments this may mean different boxes ship by different methods, whichever is cheapest for that particular box
  - Canada Post shipped orders ship out right away

  CPC - Expedited Post

  Canada Post Expedited Parcel is the most economical and fast (1-3 days to most of BC and AB, 5-6 days to ON and QC), shipped with delivery confirmation and the included $100 coverage

  CPC - Expedited w/coverage

  Add additional coverage over the included $100 for full coverage in case of loss or damage (does not cover glass breakage)

  CPC - Expedited w/signature

  Add signature required option - Canada Post charges an extra fee for this option

  CPC - Priority Post $$$

  Canada Post Priority may or may not be any faster for close destinations and can often be the same delivery time as Xpresspost but at a higher price for farther locations. This method can be okay if the order is something very small and light like cap liners going a long way, but for many orders it is up to several hundred dollars per box and only a day faster if at all

  CPC - Priority w/coverage $$$

  CPC - Priority w/signature $$$

  CPC - Regular Parcel

  Canada Post Regular Parcel Post may be cheaper to some farther destinations and/or on heavier or larger boxes but for most shipments this method is more expensive than Expedited and slower as well. If unsure select Cheapest Post

  CPC - Regular Parcel w/coverage

  CPC - Regular Parcel w/signature

  CPC - Xpresspost $$

  Canada Post Xpresspost may or may not be any faster for most close destinations in BC and AB, same 1-3 days as Expedited. Can be a day or two faster to farther destinations but the price can be double the price of Expedited, even more if heavy or large

  CPC - Xpresspost w/coverage $$

  CPC - Xpresspost w/signature $$

  Local Business Delivery (No Charge)

  We offer delivery to local businesses downtown and in the industrial park at no charge

  Pick Up at V&C Courier (No Charge)

  Orders can be picked up at our local courier's location in Salmon Arm. There is no charge for this service we offer complimentarily. If you choose this method we will send you an email when the order is picked up by V&C with the information to contact the courier to make arrangements to pick up your order from them. If you are not local and planning to pick up your order when passing through or when in town, please be sure to place your order well in advance so there is time for it to be processed and picked up by V&C. Please note V&C is closed weekends and holidays and do not have set open hours, they are out delivering. Pick ups are by appointment only

  Quote Faster Post

  Once the order is packed you will be emailed a shipping quote with the various prices and delivery times. For info on the faster methods please see above

  Quote First - Cheapest Courier

  Shipping will be estimated and you will receive a shipping quote by email. Once we have received a reply from you to go ahead and ship, the order will be processed at the quoted shipping amount. If you wish to just pay the actual cheapest rate at time of shipping and not delay your order, select Courier - Cheapest instead (see above)

  Quote First - Cheapest Post

  Shipping will be estimated and you will receive a shipping quote by email. Once we have received a reply from you to go ahead and ship, the order will be processed at the quoted shipping amount. If you wish to just pay the actual cheapest rate at time of shipping and not delay your order, select Cheapest Post instead (see above)

  Quote First - Cheapest Shipping

  Shipping will be estimated and you will receive a shipping quote by email. Once we have received a reply from you to go ahead and ship, the order will be processed at the quoted shipping amount. If you wish to just pay the actual cheapest rate at time of shipping and not delay your order, select Any Carrier - Cheapest instead (see above)

  Truck Freight - Collect

  The shipment info will be sent when the order is ready for pick up by your carrier. You can arrange the pick up and send us the BOL

  Truck Freight - Prepay

  The order will be shipped with the carrier after we've quoted you the best rate. Freight will be charged on the invoice. Please advise us by email if you have a loading dock or forklift for delivery or if you require a liftgate/power tail gate for delivery

  USA - USPS EMS Express

  Faster shipping method to the US, called Xpresspost USA here. Includes $100 coverage

  USA - USPS EMS Express w/coverage

  USA - USPS Priority

  Cheapest shipping method to the US, called Expedited Parcel USA here. Includes $100 coverage

  USA - USPS Priority w/coverage

  V&C Courier - Collect

  Choose if you wish to pay the delivery to V&C at the door upon delivery, or if you have an account with V&C

  V&C Courier - Prepay

  Delivery will be prepaid and charged on the invoice

 

• All orders are shipped out
• Shipping is not included in the price of the products
• There is no handling fee
• Shipping is not free (except locally as noted) and there is no free shipping over a certain dollar amount, the discounts are built into the prices of the products
• Please ignore the zeros next to the shipping methods in the check out, they are meaningless and can't be removed
• Shipping is prepaid and added to the invoice at time of shipping (prepay & charge)
• We ship to all addresses in Canada and the USA, including PO Boxes
• Please add us to your safe senders list. This: oshunsupply@gmail.com is the email address we will send from if we need to contact you about your order
• We are not responsible for damage or delays in delivery time once shipment leaves our warehouse
• Tracking for courier and other non-Canada Post shipments will be emailed
• Courier shipping options include Canpar, Purolator, UPS, FedEx, ICS and others
• Canpar and Purolator (and ICS) can be used for shipments containing cases of glass. Although FedEx and UPS have special handling they cannot be used for orders containing cases of glass
• Please inspect courier shipments before signing the proof of delivery and note any damage on the driver's copy of the paperwork. In the event your courier shipment arrives damaged please take photos of the damaged package before unpacking, photos of the damaged product itself and email to us
• Please inspect truck freight pallet shipments before signing the proof of delivery and note any damage on the driver's copy of the paperwork. In the event your ltl freight shipment arrives damaged please take photos and email to us

Canada Post specific:
• Canada Post shipment notification emails with tracking info are sent automatically when the order ships out. To be sure you receive your emails from Canada Post make sure to add them to your safe senders list. This: donotreply-nepasrepondre@notifications.canadapost-postescanada.ca is the email address they are sent from
• In the event your shipment is lost or damaged, please email us so we can start a claim with Canada Post. Please note glass breakage is not covered
• If for some reason you are notified by Canada Post that your shipment cannot be delivered and is being returned to sender, please first call your local postal outlet with your tracking item number to try to get them to stop the RTS and make arrangements to pick up your shipment. If they refuse please email us immediately so we can open a ticket with them. If a shipment is returned to us due to an incomplete address (eg: missing suite number) you will incur triple shipping costs as we will be billed for the return trip and then will have to send the shipment out to you a second time. Please be sure your ship to address is entered correctly and completely
• Multiple piece shipments can be delivered separately, please be patient and wait a few days for the other boxes to arrive
